Somewhat the same here in Sweden. We have a wonderful translation of the rules that also relocates the setting to 1920s Sweden, but not much other material that have been translated. But on the other hand most of the target audience here are fluent in English so the focus have been on creating local material (adventures and a sourcebook for my home town that have been painted as "the Arkham of Sweden" 🙂).

#PennedPossibilities 566 — What hobbies do you have outside of writing?

Because I'm a writer, I think reading also goes without saying here. I love reading (and listening to audiobooks) so much. So, number one, and at the top of the list: I'm a podcaster. I have a paranormal podcast named #PANDASDEN.

Random fact about me, I'm a huge gamer. To name a few of my loves: Call of Duty Zombies, Assassin's Creed, Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate, Layers of Fear, Diablo, Zelda, and The Witcher. I have a full gaming desk setup, love my Switch, and older gaming systems too, of course.

As far as gaming goes, I'm also a #TTRPG game or dungeon master as well. I've had some campaigns running since about '09 or '10 with close friends. I love it. We have or are playing various games such as #DnD / #DungeonsAndDragons, #CyberpunkRED, #Cyberpunk2020, #VampiretheMasquerade, #CallOfCthulhu, and a lot of homebrew stuff as well.

Aside from that, I'm a sports fan. That keeps me busy enough, believe me. I probably get my daily cardio minutes in during games or races.

Not to be forgotten, I love cooking as well. And photography. I'm (more than) a bit of a classic film nut, too. TCM feels like home. You guys know that about me, I'm sure.

One of my favourite things about Call of Cthulhu (the RPG) is that it's a core part of the game that you can (and SHOULD) in any situation and city, town or village...
Go bother a librarian about obscure and/or strange things and look at a bunch of books to fact check things people have said. 😂 Library Use is a skill, and it's an important skill!
I just like it.

Moving along, in 2025, I'll tackle a new, weekly #OSE game (#TheHallsOfArdenVul), as well as continuing campaigns of OSE, #CallOfCthulhu, #DCCRPG, #DnD5e, #TheOneRing, and #TravellerRPG from 2024. And at the very least, I'll get to play in person at #CanCon, if not other cons and game days (possible now because I've finally settled down in a city). In all likelihood, I'll probably finally catch COVID, but that's the price of assembling in crowds these days, I guess.

That said, though, I got to play the #ADnD1e classic White Plume Mountain, an abridged version of #TravellerRPG's equally noteworthy “Ancients" saga (albeit mostly in #CypherSystem), @Splinterbone's ongoing #DnD5e #ForgottenRealms campaign, an irregular #MonsterOfTheWeek game, began campaigns of #OSE and #TheOneRing, and proudly participated in Al Smith's likely endless reimagining of #CallOfCthulhu's colossal #MasksOfNyarlathotep, featuring amongst many other embellishments…
