#Edinburgh peeps, a reminder that this Friday (4th April), we will be enjoying a visual tour of the beautiful islands of Scotland's west coast with Alastair MacDonald Jackson
"Records make your life better"
Fabulous to see Dundee's Assai and #Edinburgh 's own Thorne Records (where I buy most of my vinyl, handily placed just across the road from our bookshop) on the BBC site for their well-deserved inclusion on a world-wide list of best record stores https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/c2er11m9414o

Scottish Labour "leader", Sarwar, backs Starmer's welfare and overseas aid cuts https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gekmnmy07o
Of course he does; he's no leader, he just does what Labour's head office in London tells him. God forbid he'd stand up for anything, least of all the Scottish people he's meant to represent. Useless numpty.

Lovely afternoon with chum, going round the annual Turner Exhibition at the National Gallery of Scotland - this year we have Dublin's collection and they have ours.
Long queues, but well worth it. Also good to get chum out for a while as they just lost one of their beloved kitties, so glad to get them out to enjoy something and take their mind off it for a wee while at least.

Multiple police vehicles at Picardy Place, and scores of police outside the Omni Centre. No idea what's going on?
The Barrs facility near Cumbernauld has made the cylinder of their revolving door resemble a giant can of Irn-Bru, and I am amused!

Last light of a winter day, bathing church towers in golden light, with the Campsie Hills behind.
For #SaintAndrewsDay - #Edinburgh Castle on a snowy night, lit up Saltire blue for Scotland's national day. Took this walking home from my book group on this day in 2010.

Views of a magical, fantasy ice Kingdom... Things like this just happen when you live here .
