A couple of days ago, I spotted a coal skink (Plestiodon anthracinus) slithering around in my office. It darted under and between the books piled beside my bookcase, prompting me to search behind the books, a small chest, and my shredder to locate the intruder. I managed to grab it with my right hand, but it escaped by slipping through my grip and likely took refuge behind the bookcase. With two heavy desks and the bookcase in my office, I wasn't willing to rearrange everything just to chase down a small lizard. I would have gladly taken it outside, where its survival prospects would be far better than in my cluttered office. On the bright side, the encounter motivated me to organize my bookcase, turning the pile of books next to it into a neatly arranged collection.

@arstechnica Absolutely won’t happen… As a current #Nissan #Leaf owner, I’d be curious to see what would happen if #Tesla did buy Nissan; but it would make very little sense for them to do so.

If Nissan was unable to find a buyer and went out of business, well Tesla is one of many companies that would directly benefit from such a demise; so it would make more sense for Tesla to reject any such proposal outright.

In saying that, this is just wishful thinking by #politicians , anyway.

If you shame people who drive #Tesla, but keep driving your old LEAF (nothing wrong with that) to #McDonalds (problematic) and then go home and watch #Disney Channel (problematic), you are contributing to the problem, not helping.

No one should buy a Tesla now, that much is obvious, but the cars that are here, are here, and the planet is not better off if people start tossing those cars and buy something else instead. "Sell your Tesla!" is a chant, but well, that means someone have to buy it, doesn't it?

Let people have their Teslas, they should not even need stickers stating they hate Musk. Shaming people that did not actually mean to do bad stuff, or even thought they did good stuff, is an effective way to make people align with the bad side.

We do NOT need that right now....

If you distibute sticker with "NAZI CAR" onto any Tesla you see, stop it now. Go home, look at your account printout, and check evil you should stop paying for.

PS: I do not own, never owneed a Tesla. I owned a #LEAF though.
