Will & Harper was, for me, many ways "things I already knew". *But* lots of it was very relatable. It centred Harper's voice and stories. She was the one telling the story, telling her story.
I've watched Will & Harper movie, road trip of Will Ferrell and his friend Harper Steel, who transitioned quite late in life.
It was sweet and sad, and wonderful (also great colleagues from SNL had cameos).
Worth a watch.

I watched "Will & Harper" last night about Will Farrell driving coast to coast with his long time friend Harper Steele who recently transitioned to be a trans woman after a lifetime of wanting to be that way. There are many interesting and at times moving conversations from which many of us could learn a lot. Some of the most touching parts for me were when small groups of ordinary folk were talking with Harper and treating her as one should - like just another person.

Huge props to Ferrell for being such a standup ally. Reminds me of my own journey (VictoriasJourney.com). My pledge brother (James, PKP; 1981) remains my closest friend (male or female) to this day. Would literally give me the shirt off his back, if ever needed.
