This Is My Glasgow

One of the four rather wonderfully sculpted eagles on the Battlefield Monument in Glasgow. Designed by Alexander Skirving with sculptures by James Young, it was erected in 1887, and it commemorates the Battle of Langside between the army of Mary, Queen of Scots and that of the Earl of Moray, which took place nearby in 1568.

I started my first game last night, wrote in chat that it's my first game in 8 months and I apologized if I'm bad. Teammates were really nice and said no problem. I actually finished with K/D of 1, so not too bad. 😊 Got the controls rightaway, at this point it's like riding a bike, I guess.

The #US agreed to send 31 Abrams M1A1 #BattleTanks to #Ukraine in January 2023 after an aggressive months long campaign by #Kyiv arguing that the tanks, which cost about $10 million apiece, were vital to its ability to breach Russian lines.
