It's that way that in the past, you only remember the good things and not the bad. It's the same with running courses. You just think, "Oh, that one goes through the forest so nicely, I could run that again." Of course, you forget about the nasty climb. 
Unfortunately, the Kneipp pool won't open for another two weeks.

Yes! A new personal best at 10k. I started way back (section H) so I had to overtake a lot of people. It was warm and windy but luckily I could keep up a pace of around 5' /km. And the final 2 k it's all or nothing . Lots of people along the course, shouting encouraging stuff. With my name on the bib it's easy 'come on Johan!...you can do it !...nearly there!...
And afterwards celebrating with colleagues

I had a cramp in my left calf Friday night, so I postponed yesterday's run until today. It wasn't a problem, but I took it easy. It's great to be fit. 10 km in an hour without effort.

#Komoot fängt wohl schon an zu zerbröseln. Seit etwa 4 Tagen zeigt die Startseite nicht mehr an, wenn meine engsten FreundInnen und sonstige Gefolgte eine neue Tour gemacht haben (Benachrichtigungen bekomme ich eh selten, trotz korrekter Settings). Umgekehrt scheint es ebenso zu sein – ich mache die tollsten Touren, und es gibt keinerlei Reaktionen. Der Support reagiert auch noch nicht. Erlebt ihr auch so komische Sachen?
That was more fun and more successful than I expected after last weeks marathon. Beautiful day #trailrunning and teaching my legs who has the right of house here.
Afternoon run after the rain, through a gum tree forest, brilliant trails, just the right amount of everything - scramble, flat, up/down, zig and zag, jumps and ducks when the branches were low. Great fun. First 2km with Paddy the Irish mutt and then a quick pit stop to swap tires erm mutt to the Miss MoneyPenny version. Though halfway through I figured that this is a motor cross trail, lucky we were alone in the forest today.
The run was perfectly timed, so I could listen to the all the track on the absolutely brilliant self titled album by The Turbans. I just love this kind of mix of cultures and style of northern African and middle eastern music.
A 2h30 easy run today.
According to #Runalyze my marathon readiness is 102%.
So I am ready for the Rotterdam Marathon this weekend.
But it aint gonna happen.
I am saving my legs and energy for #SnowDonia in 5 weeks

Opportunity for a short downhill run from hills of #lyon 5 to #Villeurbanne enjoying the warm weather (along one zillion people)
I have to say, the scenic #London skyline just doesn't get old! After the first day here at #QConLondon, a nice little evening run along the Thames, you almost don't want to turn back 
Absolutely not complaining, but definitely a welcome change from my usual #TrailRunning in the mountains 
The great weather is continuing here. And since the temperatures are still ok, it's really fun. But at the risk of being a spoilsport: Nature is starting to need some rain here.
The ankle is OK.

Even Paddy the Irish mutt got a bit tied of running in soft sand. Here we are hoping that over there yonder, we would find the gravel road we should have been on. I was paying too much attention to #RAAAD and The Doors than the map.
Tomorrow got to be an early start, as we are forecasted 21c, which is just too hot for mutt and human to run in.

Today's trailrun up to Prabé above Sion. 
The super steep ascent is rewarded with this view.
My first marathon ever completed. 
I met some nice people at the starting area and chatted with them the entire marathon. 
We walked at all the water points and I had to stop twice to pee. 
I stopped halfway and greeted my family. 
The crowd along the entire route was fantastic. A great experience and I had no problems at all. 
My finish time? I have no idea. 
Tomorrow will be my first race of this year’s season. I am nervous, I must say, but I am also getting very excited to do my longest trail race ever!
