#NorthernTraverse recovery continues slowly. I have new issues that I have not had before, like strange pins and needles pains in my feet that come and go, and a couple of decent blisters. Knees are a bit grumpy still but on the whole I’m in remarkably good shape so should be easing myself back into training in the next two weeks ready for the Hampshire Hoppit marathon in June. But first, I’ll be there cheering on my wife in the Mortimer trail 10k next weekend #trailrunning #running

It was pretty fun working the aid station this morning at Inside Trail's Woodside Crossover race. The sun came out around the same time the first runners arrived, and we were able to get everyone in and out as quickly as they wanted to.
Didn't run out of anything, even though it seemed like everyone wanted watermelon. Then a little more watermelon.
And best of all, no injuries and no one missed the cutoff!

#Komoot fängt wohl schon an zu zerbröseln. Seit etwa 4 Tagen zeigt die Startseite nicht mehr an, wenn meine engsten FreundInnen und sonstige Gefolgte eine neue Tour gemacht haben (Benachrichtigungen bekomme ich eh selten, trotz korrekter Settings). Umgekehrt scheint es ebenso zu sein – ich mache die tollsten Touren, und es gibt keinerlei Reaktionen. Der Support reagiert auch noch nicht. Erlebt ihr auch so komische Sachen?

Very good experience. Ran to just before my breaking point . Almost cramps … just avoided it by managing effort, salt , hydration etc. it’s been a while since I worked this hard. On road I ran almost at full speed. Sand and stone beach segments slowed down everything ofc … and some headwind  

See you on the other side… 60 round attempt for 11700 steps.

Österlen Spring Trail | Duo Trail … Starting in 1h20m

In Sweden today running a relay trail race with my friend. I’m runner 1 … first ~30K. Starts at 10:00 CEST.

Afternoon run after the rain, through a gum tree forest, brilliant trails, just the right amount of everything - scramble, flat, up/down, zig and zag, jumps and ducks when the branches were low. Great fun. First 2km with Paddy the Irish mutt and then a quick pit stop to swap tires erm mutt to the Miss MoneyPenny version. Though halfway through I figured that this is a motor cross trail, lucky we were alone in the forest today.

The run was perfectly timed, so I could listen to the all the track on the absolutely brilliant self titled album by The Turbans. I just love this kind of mix of cultures and style of northern African and middle eastern music.

A 2h30 easy run today.
According to #Runalyze my marathon readiness is 102%.
So I am ready for the Rotterdam Marathon this weekend.
But it aint gonna happen.
I am saving my legs and energy for #SnowDonia in 5 weeks.
