Just hooked up an oscilloscope to my HF antenna feed line and it looks like I'm getting a large ~1 MHz signal from the antenna before being filtered in the transceiver to receive 14.074 MHz.

In this weekend's #CQWW #CW #AmateurRadio contest I worked #Mauritius on 20M tonight, which is approximately 11,300 miles away from #Arizona! Not only is that an all-time brand-new country for me, it is also an all-time distance record! I still marvel at the miracle of high-frequency #HF ionospheric radio wave propagation! #HamRadio #DX #3B8M

I made a total of 75 #CW contacts in this weekend's #Arizona #AZ #QSO Party across 30 states and Canadian provinces for a total score of 4500 points. I'll take it especially given the atrocious #HF band conditions. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio

I was hearing nothing on #HF this morning, so I finally went outside to check the antenna. I found it leaning on our house. This is the second time in 3 months. At least, this time I was able to put it back up without having to call our neighbor. Its getting physically harder to keep the antenna up, so I'm probably going to have to give up #AmateurRadio if I can't get any local help. So far, no go even after posting in our state's newsletter. I'm disappointed in our local #HamRadio community.

I just worked 3G7CW (Chile) on 21.026.1 MHz CW. While this is not a new country, it does represent the first #DX contact I've made in weeks! Glad to see the bands are starting to come back to life again at least a little. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #HF

I wonder when more "out of the box" ready built #HF ( #shortwave ) #radio receivers with DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale, not the copy protection!) will be easily available?

China Radio International (as well as other PSBs in Asia and Central Europe) are experimenting with the mode and getting good audio quality on AAC+ codec (no worse than DAB+ here in Britain). I've seen a few receivers on DRM website but they aren't yet in mass production compared to analogue HF sets..
